Culverhay Sporting Review.

Monday 21st june me (Sam Callaghan) and Jake Best took year 7's to do culverhay cross country rute. we got all the pupiles down on to the field where they would start to run, we first put them into 3 catagories (bronze, silver and gold) wich consist of the bronze being the short course where they would come out the field n turn into padliegh woods and come out before the stile at the bottom of the hill about 100m from the finish line where they would be greated by the other sports leaders (Danny O'callaghan, Jack Robinson and Reuben Caven) and  to take there times and what courses they ran.

Second rute (Silver) they will turn right to go up the hill and follow the road round till they get to a stile that will lead them into padleigh and come out before the stile where me and jake where standing at. The gold rute they were to run up the hill, run to the church and find the stile where Mr Seavill was standing to change there rute as the first stile was over crouded by a bush, so the alternative rute they were to run another 30m to come to a metal gate with a stile and jump over and run down into the first field then at the end of the first field was another stile where they were to jump over to get into the final feild before the stile that where me and Jake were standing and then they had a final push to run up the hill to the finish line.

Thursday 28th June 2 hour sporting competition with the year 7's another 2 hours with the year 9's.
the first 2 hours we had planned out 3 activities (hand ball, football, basketball and athletics) to last 40 mins per activites. There was a large amount of sports leaders so we alicated 2 leaders per group. we had a round robin lay out for all the activites giving them points for the position that they came in.
for safety reasons we had to move the football from indoors to outside on the small play ground pitch as the indoor court was to slippery from condensation from previous activities within the sports hall.
